On February 19, the general meeting of the Association of Private Medical Institutions of Ukraine was held

February 19, 2025 took place general meeting of the Association of Private Medical Institutions of Ukraine, at which the participants summed up the results of 2024, discussed the draft code of ethics of the Association, the conditions of entry and membership of new members of the union and the directions of further development of the organization.

Participants of the general meeting approved three strategic directions of the Association's work for 2025:

1. Cooperation with the European Association of Private Hospitals UEHP in order to study the experience of the countries of the European Union in the implementation of innovative medical models and technologies, health management, impact on health policy;
2. Advocacy of amendments to regulatory documents in the field of health care that discriminate against HOs of private forms of ownership;
3. Conducting information campaigns on opportunities and progressive models of medical care in private clinics of Ukraine, their social projects, etc.

In order to optimize and structure the activities of the Association at the general meeting, it was decided to create committees and support the candidatures of their leaders:

• Public Policy Impact Committee — Oleksandr Dudin
• Advisory (legal) committee — Olena Babych
• PR and Communications Committee — executive body
• Training Committee — Oleg Piskun

We believe that these steps will help us to make private medicine in Ukraine even better, more accessible and more integrated into the European medical community.
