On August 2, 2023, the first meeting of the Working Group on Strengthening the Role of Private Health Institutions in the Recovery and Development of the Health System was held.
The meeting was attended by:

Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on National Health, Medical Care and Health Insurance Mykhailo Radutsky.

The activities of the working group will take place in the following directions:
revision of the Plan for the restoration of the health care system of Ukraine from the consequences of the war for 2022 - 2032 and taking into account the role of private medicine in it;
participation in the development of the program of voluntary health insurance;
search for optimal models of public-private partnership;
introduction of co-payment;
participation of private NGOs in international technical assistance projects and the opportunity to receive humanitarian and charitable assistance for free services to certain categories of the population;
construction of patient routes in a capable network of health care facilities with the participation of private medical institutions;
implementation of innovative projects, technologies in the field of medicine;
popularization and implementation of state business support programs (5-7-9 and others);
elaboration of preferential lending programs for employees of private forms of ownership;
inclusion in the list of PPE medical laboratories.
During the next meeting, it is proposed to discuss the roadmap for the introduction of voluntary health insurance and possible co-payment mechanisms. Representatives of the Association are ready for effective work and hope for active cooperation with the Ministry of Health.
