The Association sent its proposals and comments to the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, which regulates the sale of donor blood and its components by the subjects of the blood system.
The norms proposed in the resolution actually make it impossible for private medical institutions in the field of surgery and emergency medical care, which jeopardizes the availability of quality medical care in Ukraine, especially in conditions of martial law.
In this regard The Association proposes to make the following changes to the Resolution:Include the needs of private medical institutions in the total volume of blood reserves. Allow the sale of blood for private institutions not only in the presence of surpluses, but also according to the declared needs.
We hope that the Ministry of Health of Ukraine will take into account these proposals to ensure equal conditions of access to medical resources for all patients.
