Igor Malinovsky, urologist of the highest category in the MC Clinic named after Academia. Yu.P.Spizhenko

The trip to Latvia in September was organized at the highest level. Everything is very carefully planned and coordinated in time — no expectations and unnecessary worries. Living and dining conditions can be called luxurious.

We had enough time to walk through Riga — we lived next to the old town and had the opportunity to get acquainted with the history of the ancient and very diverse city. Incredible impressions of him.

My colleague and I visited the center of radiation diagnostics whose doctors shared their experience. There was a lot of interesting information, especially regarding PET CT diagnostics. Certain details will be very useful in practical work, although I have more than 35 years of experience in the field.

We were also in a private clinic that opens a large inpatient department with the most modern equipment.

Colleagues gave interesting information about the large-scale positive changes in the field of health care in Latvia that took place after the country gained independence, about the cooperation and assistance of the European Union to the Latvian health system.

In the picturesque town of Sigulda, which I think is ideal for the location of a medical facility, we visited the Stereotactic Radiosurgical Center. The clinic is very pleasant, modern equipped, located in a picturesque location.

The doctors shared their 8-year experience in the treatment of neoplasms and introduced us to the statistics of the work of foreign colleagues. We also held a master class on installing the latest radiosurgical labels.

This was very useful information and skills for everyday work, especially for the clinic named after. YU.P. Spizhenka, specializing in radiosurgical treatment of malignant neoplasms. In addition to the planned events, the staff of the cyberclinic organized for us an unforgettable excursion to Jurmala. Impressions of her are incredible! All the staff and doctors of the clinics we met were open and friendly to us. The atmosphere of communication is relaxed and sincere. It is very nice when colleagues share their experiences and their achievements!

Thank you to the Association of Private Medical Institutions of Ukraine for the opportunity to participate in this event! I hope the cooperation will continue in the future.
