According to the head of the Ministry of Health, a professional dialogue between the state and representatives of the health sector will accelerate the necessary changes: the development of a “roadmap” for the implementation of transformations, the identification of those responsible, the launch of work on legislative and regulatory changes.
Olena Yeshchenko, head of the Association of Private Medical Institutions of Ukraine, said at the meeting that “We can provide free medical care to categories of the population who need it if we have the opportunity to compensate the costs through receiving charitable assistance, humanitarian assistance or participation in international projects. We have a very clear track record.”
