“The new mechanism is fairer, because every citizen paid taxes on medicine — gave his money to the state and the NHSU.
No matter which institution a person chooses — public, municipal or private — everyone has the right to receive their share of the money paid in the form of taxes from the state and the NHSU for their treatment,” explained Tigran Arutyunyan, General Director of Odrex Medical Home, who is part of the working group at the Ministry of Health on strengthening the role of private institutions health in the recovery and development of the health care system.
The draft law on the continuation of medical reform, submitted to the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, will open access for citizens to private medical institutions.
