If the institution (laboratory) already has a medical (laboratory) information system that is not connected to the ESOC, then you can go in two ways: expand your software infrastructure by implementing the above software into the existing one; ensure the connection of your system to the central ECZ database.
If you intend to connect, then you need to act according to the following algorithm: determine what kind of ECOS functionality will be needed for your laboratory; develop such functionality; obtain a certificate of compliance of the integrated information protection system (SSSI) with the requirements established by the DSSZI; submit a request to the administrator of the ECOSZ Central Database (DSSI) P “Electronic Health” to conduct testing; successfully pass testing and obtain a conclusion on the compliance of the functionality with technical requirements; if necessary — to conduct training among users.
Such an algorithm takes time to implement.
However, after that, your medical (laboratory) information system will become a full-fledged part of the ESOC.
