What is the role of the private sector in the Health Guarantee Program (PMG)?
On Friday, December 20, representatives of the Association of Private Medical Institutions of Ukraine Olena Yeshchenko, Chairman of the Association, CEO and co-founder of the network of private clinics “Smart Medical Center” and “Smart klinika”, Vitaliy Bereznitsky, CEO and Managing Partner of the Garvis Network, Alexey Babich, general director of the medical laboratory “Dila”, Yana Ukrainska, The medical director of the Dobrobut network joined the discussion on the role of the private sector in the implementation of the Medical Guarantee Program (PMG).
The event, organized by the Ukrainian Health Center with the support of the Government of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, became a platform for open dialogue between public, international and private stakeholders. The meeting discussed challenges for private healthcare providers, ways to ensure equal access for patients to quality care and integration of private providers into PMG.
