Meeting of APMZU with the leadership of NSU

On December 2, 2024, an important meeting of representatives of the Association of Private Medical Institutions of Ukraine with the leadership of the National Health Service of Ukraine took place. Participants discussed critical issues related to the future Health Guarantee Program for 2025.

From the side of the APMZU were present: Chairman of the Association, CEO and co-founder of the network of private clinics Smart Medical Center and Smart klinika Olena Yeshchenko, Oleksandr Dudin, founder and co-owner of the medical laboratory “CSD”, Mykola Skavronskyi, commercial director of the medical laboratory “Synevo”, Valeriy Zukin, director of the clinic of reproductive medicine “Nadezhda”, Vadim Zukin, operating director of the medical center “Stork”, Serhiy But, founder and CEO of the Tesla Family Clinic, Lyubov Ronska, Acting Director of the Medical Center “Harmony of Health”, Oleg Piskun, founder of the medical center “Rodovid” and executive director of the Association Iryna Gorina.

Elena Yeshchenko presented the points that cause concern to the participants of the APMZU. Oleksandr Dudin presented a report with comments on the draft resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the approval of PMG-2025. Particular attention was paid to provisions that limit the participation of private medical institutions in the next year's PMG program, and in some cases make it impossible to participate at all. Mykola Skavronsky and Valery Zukin added important comments to the discussion.

The head of the NSU Natalia Gusak expressed the position of the service, trying to explain the current decisions. The discussion was dynamic and covered a number of key issues that need further elaboration. The parties agreed to work together on amendments to the resolution. The results of the work will be reported additionally.

The joint efforts of the participants are aimed at creating conditions that will allow private medical institutions to effectively join the Medical Guarantee Program, providing quality medical care for the population.
